That race today made me remember why I follow NASCAR. It had everything you need from a race, including an exciting finish. I have to admit that there towards the end I was shouting quite a bit, to the point where I thought my neighbors were wondering if I was possibly being murdered.
The ending though...well, I didn't want to see that. I was really hoping Tony would hold onto the win, if only because I really dislike Jimmie Johnson. Sometimes I wonder what he and Chad have going on that no one else has. On the positive side, Kurt got a top 5 finish and Scott Dixon won the Indy Car race.
As for my "baby" Kevin Harvick, I just hold out hope that he makes it back into the top 15 in points by the end of the season. The way he's running now, I'm not sure that will even happen. Hopefully Richard gets on the ball soon and does a major shake up with the 29 team.
I also wanted to let everyone know that I'll be attending the NASCAR Prelude to the Dream at Eldora Speedway on Wednesday night. If anyone else is going, please send us and email and maybe we can meet up. Katy won't be attending this time, but I'll take lots of pictures. Hope to see you there!
